The current deadline for the Dark Tales Short Story Competition is 31st January, and it is open to writers worldwide. First prize is £200, £100 goes to the runner-up, and third place £50. All of these stories are published in Dark Tales.

Dark Tales: Volume XIV

For me, Georgina Bruce's Dark Tales debut brings to mind a hybrid of classic 1950s sci-fi and David Cronenburg's visceral horror - see if you agree.
